The Keyper Duo was founded in the summer of 2019, when the Dutch cellist Charlotte Gulikers and the Mexican double bass player Lino Mendoza met during an orchestra project of the international Theresia Orchestra. They started playing together and discovered their common interests in the historical duo repertoire for cello and double bass. After preparing some programmes consisting of pieces in different styles, the Keyper Duo started to perform in Switzerland, Holland, Italy and Mexico.
